A few stories in history bog the human mind. When reading
the stories of men, we are forced to settle at some phase in their lives and
posed questions at the distant storywriter about how some supposed mysteries
were achieved. A friend once said that writers are selfish with their
information.
Many questions flood our minds as we read stories of great people. How did he/she achieve so much? What were his/her secrets?
Standing out among such
stories is the story of the biblical Samson and Delilah. Many women including
men just couldn’t understand why a great man like Samson who knew the evil his
woman was plotting would go ahead to fix his neck on the gallows. What was the
secret of Delilah, Samson’s mistress? What portion did she used to make a
puppet out of the great Samson? This unravelled secret in history sure beats
today’s imaginations
Also many ladies in the 21st century wouldn’t believe the magnitude of what the legendary Cleopatra of Egypt did. They would say it is impossible, looking at the world today and the nature of men. I want to say that what held the almighty Julius Caesar of Rome and General Mark Anthony glued to Cleopatra was another secret in history that beat our imaginations.
Take it or leave it, Cleopatra of Egypt and Delilah of the Philistine legend had one thing in common, which is they used a certain potion to win and keep the love of the men in their lives.
Several historians and researchers have tried in the past to unravel the mystery behind the potion the Egyptian queen used to keep the Great Julius Caesar in Egypt away from his throne and beloved Rome. The same potion took over Gen. Mark Anthony the great, and kept him beside Cleopatra, even in death. Nobody has been able to unmasked the elixir that potion was made of until now.
All possibilities that Cleopatra applied the beauty or sexy charms had long been ruled out. First, Cleopatra was a Ptolemy, the last line of black Pharaohs. The female Ptolemys were known to be lanky and warrior-like. Second, Cleopatra was not the first sex goddess Caesar must have meant. In fact, he just returned from conquering India when he first meant Cleopatra. Thirds, some legend said that Cleopatra was one of the Catwomen in ancient Egypt. Forget about what you watch in movies, Cat women where not known to be beautiful women. They were wild women who protect the royalty of Egypt.
Love or sex wasn’t the potion that mesmerised two great Roman warriors. There must be something else.
