Finally, Name and Face to the Many Death at the NIS Job Screening Stampede in PH

Many of us are still wondering if justice will be buried again in Nigeria, over the poor innocent people that died in what looked like a job scam purported sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria. At last, there is a face to the many who died on Saturday March 15th, during a nationwide Immigration job screening exercise that turned chaotic. One of the women who died during a stampede at the Port Harcourt venue, Lucy, has been buried. Lucy was buried by her family in her home town in Akwa-Ibom State.

Lucy, who was in her thirties, lived at a butcher house somewhere in Elelenwo in Port-Harcourt. She was preparing to marry before the fateful incident took her life. The entire youth in this country should rise up and mourn her. When will this nonsense stop? Rest in PEACE my sister.
