My Throat Cancer Caused By Oral Sex - Michael Douglas

A popular Hollywood star, Michael Douglas, who fought a six-month battle with cancer from August 2010 until January 2011, now revealed in an interview with U.K.'s The Guardian, that his illness was caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Douglas in his words said, "Without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus."

According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, one tract of HPV -- known as HPV16 -- is known to be linked to oral cancer, manifesting itself in the back regions of the throat and mouth. Douglas admits he suffered through toothaches and other oral infections for nine months before discovering his diagnosis.

Medical reports state that there have been several cases of oral cancer these days and could all be traced to oral sex. No one is raising dust over this because it is sex related, but thank God, now you know.
