It finally ended at a draw of Nigeria 1, Namibia 1. Nigeria literally came from the dead on Wednesday to scrap a 1-1 draw with the Brave Warriors of Namibia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Windhoek.
Nigeria needed to win the 2014 World Cup qualifier to move into the last round after Malawi and Kenya had settled for a 2-2 draw earlier in the day in Blantyre.
But Deon Hotto Kavendji put Namibia in front in the 77th minute and it looked almost certain that Nigeria were going to taste their first defeat in the last 17 matches before defender Godfrey Oboabona equalised for the Super Eagles.
The result leaves Nigeria on top of the African qualifying Group F with nine points, followed by Malawi with seven points.
