Briefing newsmen at the Government House Owerri, Okorocha said he was healthy and sound, even as the medical examination conducted by his doctor abroad certified him fit to resume work.
According to Governor Okorocha “am back and am healthy. Am grateful to God Almighty”.Okorocha recalled his involvement in an auto crash while on project inspection at Owerri Orlu road which left him with a minor injury at the fore-head.
He further revealed that the injury cut was earlier treated in a hospital at Orlu but considering the fact that the cut was on the forehead necessitated the need for a thorough re-examination in a specialist hospital.

He, however, urged road users to drive carefully and avoid driving when drunk, stressing that what happened to him could happen to any other person. The governor commended the deputy governor and other members of the Executive Council for running the affairs of the state and further thanked Imo people who prayed for his quick recovery.
