Nigeria, the Most Sorted After African Nation with Over 1,497 Illegal Entry Routes

In addressing the problems of the nation’s porous borders, the Federal Government went ahead to make out various entry points in the country. So far, a total number of 84 legitimate and legal routes through which people could come in and out of Nigeria has identified.
Moreso, well over 1,497 illegal routes that entered the country had also been uncovered. This makes Nigeria the most sorted after country in Africa, despite the   violence and poverty. These illegal routes are in different dimensions; some are tunnel dug by neighboring nations and others

The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has decided to erect control tolls and border plazas at all the identified legal routes for proper monitoring, with massive deployment of electronic surveillance equipment to the borders.
