The Harambee Stars of Kenya will touch down in Lagos on Tuesday four days ahead of the crunch World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles according to Kenya Football Limited (KFL) media officer, John Kariuki.

Mr Kariuki in an interview with a Lagos based radio station Brila FM said the KLF had been in constant touch with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) which will now arrange for the team’s movement from Lagos to Calabar for the mouth-watering clash.

“We are supposed to leave Kenya on March 19 and arrive same day at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos same day. Kariuki said.

“We have spoken with officials of the NFF and they have assured they will help in getting us to Calabar.”
Incidentally, the Super Eagles are also billed to leave their Abuja camp for Calabar same day when the Harambee Stars are expected to storm Nigeria.

Like in previous games, a fraction of the home boys and the Europe-based contingent will make the trip to Canaan City, where the African champions will be lodged at Transcorp Hotels, formerly Metropolitan Hotel.
