At the special Presidential reception held in honour of the Super Eagles in Abuja, President Jonathan again gave away National Honours, millions of Naira and plots of land in Abuja. Coach Stephen Keshi got Commander of the Order of Niger. N10million. Plot of land in Abuja
Asst Coach Daniel Amokachi got Officer of the Order of Niger. N5m. Plot of land in Abuja
Asst Coach Ike Shorumu got Officer of the Order of Niger. N5m. Plot of land in Abuja
Captain Joseph Yobo got Officer of the Order of Niger. N5million. Plot of land in Abuja
The rest of the Super Eagles players to be given Member of the Order of Niger. N5million. Plot of land in Abuja and finally Technical crew - N2 million each.

This was beside what Tony Elumelu and Jim Ovia donated, which was half a million dollars each to the Super Eagles. Egbon Adenuga gave his billionaire gift too. And the richest man in Africa didn't disappoint, Aliko Dangote donated N5m to each player and technical crew of the Super Eagles.
